This report marks the fourth year of reporting carbon emissions for the council’s buildings and operations, and it asks the Executive Member to approve the Annual Carbon Emissions Report for publication.

This report presents the latest York Emissions Report Inventory (2024) for the reporting year 2021. The data is used to monitor progress against the council ambition to achieve net zero carbon for the city by 2030.
